Carol John was born in Jamaican but has sent most of her life in Britain, where she now lives with her husband and four children.Prior to starting her own business, Carol studies at Reading College of Art and Design abd has worked in printing. In 200 she began a 3 year study and obtained a BA in Theological studies followed by a further 2 and a half year for a Masters degree in the same subject. Her business 'Art N Spice Creations' was setup in November 2005 reflecting her love for art. She works on a wide variety of mediums including canvas, fabric and ceramic. Carol's original paintings and prints have been exhibited in galleries and other venues and are sold to a wide clientele.

'I am intrigued by human srengths and relationship especially the support and social networking that exist in certain societies. I love colour and movement in my paintings. When I begin a piece of work I rarely know what I am going to paint let alone what the outcome would be. Rather my paintings evolve as I see shapes and figures immerge through stokes of paint.
